next furry family member!
Visit our puppies, and small dogs during open hours. Large dog kennel walkthroughs are available
for limited hours so staff can complete evening walks and settle the dogs for the night.
Adoption Center Hours
Monday – Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Walkthroughs and visits are weather permitting to ensure the health and safety of our animals.
Adoptions are first come, first served and end 30 minutes before closing.
A meet-and-greet with your current dog is required if either your dog or the dog you’re interested in is dog-selective or dog-reactive. If you’re unsure how the interaction may go, our Canine Team is happy to help facilitate a safe introduction. If you bring your dog, please provide a current vaccination record.​

*Specific dogs/puppies can be priced higher. This increased price helps to cover medical/surgical expenses of other dogs in care.

The Fee Includes:

Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets

Dogs are dewormed, tested for heartworms
-
If negative, they receive a 30-day heartworm preventative every month that they are here at SPCA Florida.

If positive, treatment is paid for by the Guardian Angel Fund at SPCA Florida’s Medical Center, and receive vaccinations for canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and rabies (if age-appropriate)
