There are many opportunities to help SPCA Florida’s homeless pets beyond traditional donations. Below is a list of ideas, but we always welcome new opportunities. If you’d like to discuss a giving opportunity, please contact Volunteer and Community Involvement Manager Randa Richter at (863) 577-4609 or [email protected].
Do It Yourself (DIY) Donation-Supply Drive or Fundraiser
Want a more hands-on approach to helping? Instead of gifts, ask friends and family to donate money or supplies to SPCA Florida’s homeless cats and dogs in honor of your birthday, holiday or other special event. Set up an SPCA Florida collection box in your classroom or office for much needed supplies like kitten food and PetAg Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR). Check out this cool donation drive infographic or view the traditional Wish List.
Or plan a special event or fundraiser to benefit SPCA Florida’s orphaned pets. Find out how you can make your event successful for pets in need with the following:
Upon completion of your DIY effort, bring your donations to SPCA Florida, 5850 Brannen Road South, Lakeland 33813 for a photo opportunity and behind-the-scenes tour.
Double your gift to help homeless pets! Many companies will double or even triple employee donations so ask your human resources representative if your company has a program. Need help? Contact Director of Marketing, Paula Creamer, at 863-577-4608
