About SPCA Florida

SPCA Florida is the leading non-profit organization building humane communities across the state of Florida.

Our organization’s mission is to eliminate animal suffering and to enhance the human-animal bond by engaging the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals.  We accomplish this by designing, delivering and advancing model programs to promote the adoption of healthy animals, prevent dog and cat overpopulation, provide veterinary medical services for animals in the community and keep animals in their homes through relinquishment intervention and safety net strategies.

SPCA Florida is an independent non-profit organization, recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Service Code.
